Transportation
From Taoyuan International Airport (TPE)
Situated about 40 km (25 miles) from Taipei, the airport offers several options for transportation to central Taipei (Taipei Main Station): shuttle bus services, taxi, MRT (Taoyuan Metro), and THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail).
Taxi
A taxi rank is located at the west side of both the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Arrivals lobbies. The service is available 24 hours a day.
MRT (Taoyuan Metro)
The Terminal 1 metro station (A12) is located in Terminal 1 B2, and the Terminal 2 metro station (A13) is located in Terminal 2 B2. You can take the MRT directly from the airport to Taipei Main Station.
Shuttle Bus
The Terminal 1 bus pickup zone is located in B1 Arrivals. The Terminal 2 bus pickup zone is located in the northeast corner of the 1st floor Arrivals lobby. The shuttles depart every 20 to 30 minutes from the airport to Taipei Main Station. The services are available 24 hours a day.
THSR
If you wish to use the THSR, take an airport shuttle bus to the THSR Taoyuan Station first, and then take the THSR to Taipei Main Station.
When you arrive in central Taipei (Taipei Main Station), take a taxi or the MRT (Taipei Metro) to the conference venue.
From Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA)
Located within Taipei City, the airport provides services for domestic, cross-strait, and limited international flights. You can travel by either taxi or MRT from the airport to the conference venue.
Taxi
A taxi rank is located outside the Arrivals lobby. The service is available 24 hours a day.
MRT (Taipei Metro)
The metro station is located in front of the gates in Terminal 1. Take the Brown line from the Songshan Airport MRT station, transfer to the Green Line at Nanjing Fuxing Station, and get off at Gongguan Station, which is within walking distance of the conference venue.
From Taipei Train Station
If you are arriving by shuttle bus, MRT (Taoyuan Metro), train or Taiwan High Speed Rail, after you get off at Taipei Main Station, you can either take a taxi or the MRT from Taipei Main Station (Red Line) to Gongguan Station (Green Line).
